• Establish document control procedures for the classification and filing of documents, including implementing a system for quick and easy retrieval of multiple documents • Be the contact person for all documents pertaining to the project, including receiving, tracking and monitoring documentation • Input drawing information for reports and logging database • Generate document control reports • Check the accuracy of transmittals • Expedite the review of internal and external documentation within the project team and the applicable stakeholders • Keep the document control systems up-to-date • Respond to internal and external documentation requests • Control the accessibility of the project documents, ensuring that only authorized individuals have access to the documents • Track the progress of the project • Support the Sr. Project Control Specialist in its daily tasks • File and photocopy documents as required

Skills & Requirements:

• College degree in secretarial studies, administration, or other relevant fields or • High school graduation and 2 to 5 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience Skills and Qualifications • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative function • Basic knowledge of engineering terminology • Proficient in project management systems (Primavera, Ms Project) • Experience working with and understanding drawings and documentation • Experience working with a computerized Project Management System • Strong organizational skills • Excellent capacity of working within a team • Must be able to multi-task • Proficient with the MS Office suite • Bilingual (French – English)

Condition of employment

• Full-time position • Occasional Travel required between Laval and Valleyfield • Regular work schedule • Must be able to work in front of a computer for several hours at a time
